Brown 1-1/2 lbs. of ground beef or sausage in skillet and drain grease. Add mix, 8 cups of water, 2 cups of crushed tomatoes and meat in pan, bring to a rapid boil. Boil 5 minutes, reduce heat and cook 30-45 minutes until beans are tender. *** For a richer flavor replace 2 cups of water with 2 cups beef broth.
